Garden Towers
Mesa Vista is growing, growing, growing! Our new garden towers are set up and ready to grow. Using aeroponic technology this tower is able to increase seed growth and will provide some healthier options for our students. A group of students has been selected and they worked hard to build the tower. They will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the correct pH levels in the water reservoir, changing out the water once per month, and teaching other students how to care for our garden.
We have three other tower gardens that will be placed in the front office, outside Mrs. Acker's room, and outside Mr. Horinger's room. These three towers will use organic fertilizer (worm castings compost) to provide nutrients to plants. We are currently waiting on soil, but hope to have these towers up soon.
